EGA Pre-conference Seminar Programme "Pharmaceutical Patent Litigation Seminar: a Comprehensive Approach" organised by Greenblum & Bernstein. In this Seminar, attendees will see up-to-date statistics of past pharmaceutical patent cases from the US, UK, Germany and the Netherlands, including rates of settlement, frequency of reversal on appeal, frequency of victories of generics and bases for such victories, and timing through final decision. These statistics and trends will be put into the context of the current (and possible future) legal frameworks of the respective countries, including updates on the past year’s developments on SPCs (Europe) and the America Invents Act (US). The Seminar will conclude with an interactive exercise session.
